This dataset contains information on 1,999 farmers and business owners in rural Myanmar. Respondents are men and women who expressed interest in agricultural or business loans.

This sample is not representative for the country/district/village. The sample consists of a very select group of people applying for microfinance. The 1,999 respondents represent 73.74% of the full study sample.
