Food security and agriculture during COVID-19

This dashboard presents data on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on food security and farming activities

  1. The first tab has more information on where the datasets come from. 

  2. The second tab looks at food security in selected countries. Specifically, we asked respondents about their ability to purchase food and possible barriers to accessing food such as income drops, price changes, and mobility restrictions. Notably, across the ten countries covered, 45% of respondents reported that they had to reduce the amount of food they would usually eat. 

  3. The third tab summarises the data on farming activities in terms of days spent working on the farm, inputs used, workers hired, and expected harvest relative to the same season for the previous year.
